Summer 2017 Designs

New Summer 2017 Designs are posted to the right.  I never duplicate designs, so each one is unique and a labor of love.  I have decided to upload new designs into one file versus separating into different colorway files.  I produce so many bottles, that I would rather spend time designing rather than organizing photos.

I have been beyond blessed to have the support of so many people since I started this journey last October.  Through a lot of trial and error and experimentation, I feel I am producing some of my best work.  My creations now can be purchased at Fermentations in Cambria, California and will soon be available at a local store in Old Town Clovis.  I will keep you posted on that endeavor.

Beyond the traditional cheese tray, I recently began showcasing olive trays.  To create the olive trays, I slump wine bottles in a mold so that once fired in the kiln, they have sides to keep the food items on the tray.  This is perfect for olives and other dip appetizers.

I will be debuting olives trays made from larger, 750 ml bottles soon.  I will also be creating dual slump olive trays in the near future.  It is exciting to branch out and offer multiple items to meet the needs of those who love to entertain.

Please take a look at my latest designs.  They are pictured in the link to the right under "Summer 2017 Designs.  I also post my designs on Facebook, under "Stacey Cross Firpo" on a regular basis.

Once again... thank you for visiting my site and supporting my love of design.  So fortunate to have family and friends who encourage me everyday.

Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!

Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!
First, I would like to thank my dear friends and family who purchased my beaded slumped wine bottle boards in 2016.  I sold over 125 bottle boards in November and December alone, and I am so excited to perfect my craft and continue to share creative designs with you.

I have added over 50 pictures of designs that I created before the end of 2016.  During the month of January I hope to replenish my stock of ready made slumped wine bottles and continue to sell them throughout the year.

Please consider purchasing a unique gift of a beaded slumped wine bottle for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, house warming gifts, or just because!

I have added three unique options when looking for that one of a kind gift.  Although limited in quantity, I am slumping larger, 750 ml wine and liquor bottles, etched wine bottles, and dual bottle platters.  These bottles are much more challenging to come by and will be sold for $45.00 (including spreader and tax).

Thank you again for all of your support!  Please feel free to contact me regarding an order at staceyfirpodesigns@att.net.

A new focus for Stacey Firpo Designs

After taking a creative break, I have found a new passion that I want to share.  I have started slumping wine bottles and adding a creative touch to them by adding decorative beads and wire to the neck of the bottle.  I also add beads to a spreader or appetizer fork to coordinate with the bottle design.  Although slumping bottles is not a new concept, it was a way for me to create a few one of a kind designs to auction off at various events; here locally as well as along the California Coast.

The demand for the slumped glass creations took off, so a new focus for Stacey Firpo Designs was born.  These one of a kind treasures are a joy to make and I have had the opportunity to share them with family and friends.

I photograph each board I create and I will share them with you here on my blog.  If you are interested in purchasing a slumped board, please contact me at staceyfirpodesigns@att.net.

Each bottle and coordinating utensil is $25 (including tax).  I am happy to create a unique design for you or replicate a design you see on this site.  Please understand that beads and utensils are not always available, so I will do my best to replicate a design with similar materials.
